Campfire runs on your machine with embedded language models — good enough for most queries, private by default. Premium unlocks enhanced cloud models that can reason across your entire archive at once: ask a question that needs context from a dozen documents and multiple recordings, and get a single coherent answer that connects the threads.

No API keys to manage. No separate subscription. The upgraded models are included in your Premium tier.
